Nu vill Google kartlägga din semester
Google har precis meddelat att det kommer ny funktion i Google Maps, en funktion som redan funnits i desktop-versionen och för Android. Funktionen presenteras som ett bra sätt att komma ihåg hela din semesterresa, var du varit, var du har handlat och så vidare men det Google inte berättar är att då vet Google det också.
What was the name of that antique store I popped into the other day? Where was that coffee shop we discovered on our last vacation? Did I drop off the dry cleaning on Tuesday or Wednesday? Answering questions like these used to take some guesswork (and a great memory). But with Your Timeline on Google Maps, Android and desktop users could quickly revisit the things theyve done and places theyve been. Starting today, Google Maps users on iOS can join in on the fun and see a daily snapshot of their life as well.
Visst låter det fiffigt, elegant och kanske som en funktion som du skulle kunna ha nytta av?
Vi har ju alla lite dåligt minne och resor är ju onekligen precis just det, minnen.
I det här fallet så är det ett företag vars hela affärside att kartlägga dig, som säljer dina data och som naturligtvis vill veta var du rest, var du ätit och vilka butiker du har besökt. I sammanhanget mycket värdefulla data som säger en helt del om dig som individ. precis just den data som Google vill ha in för sina annonsörer.
Själv använder jag Day One, skriver dagbok med bilder och den informationen är fortfarande min information.

Nu är hela iWork-paketet gratis
Apple har nu släppt hela iWork-paketet, Pages, Keynote, Number, iMovie och Garageband helt gratis – alltså även för dig som har äldre Apple-prylar.
Nu finns det ingen anledning att lägga ut pengar vare sig på ett Office-paket, videoredigering eller ljudredigering. Ladda istället ned iWork, Garageband och iMovie – Apple program och appar som nu är helt gratis, även för dig som har en lite äldre Apple-pryl.
Gratis
Sedan 2013 så har programmen och apparna varit gratis för de som köpt nya Apple-prylar. Från och med nu så kan du som har en äldre Apple-produkt, en Mac-dator, iPad eller iPhone också ladda ned programmen och apparna.
Alla programmen finns för macOS och iOS vilket betyder att du kan ha samma program och samma appar i alla dina enheter.

Cantina Talk: Carrie Fisher Won’t Star in ’Star Wars: Episode IX’ After All | WIRED
COVERING STAR WARS news is a tricky business. Sometimes there are huge announcements from the Land of Lucas; sometimes the most interesting information comes via theories on fan sites. Todays roundup, coming right on the heels of the Star Wars Celebration fan convention, is full of the former. Not only did Lucasfilm drop the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi during the convention (its above, and our breakdown of its similarities to Empire Strikes Back is here), the franchises cast and crew revealed a bunch of other news over the weekend too. Lagren minskar av iPad Pro 12.9-tum
Tolka det hur du vill men ett tecken på att det kan vara dags för en ny modell är när Apples lager av en produkt börjar att minska.
Det är det som händer nu när det gäller den stora modellen av iPad Pro, 12.9-tums modellen. En koll med 20 Apple-butiker visar att lagren av iPad Pro sjunker, hos alla butikerna.
Spot-checks of 20 Apple Retail stores show decreasing stock levels or no stock at all at retail, with the least expensive models, the 32-gigabyte with Wi-Fi and 128-gigabyte with LTE models, most profoundly impacted Apple Retail-wide. No guidance has been issued to stores as of yet on the declining stock levels.
One Apple Store staffer we spoke with said that it had ”been a while” since they had any 12.9-inch iPad shipments at all, and they had been without the 32-gigabyte Wi-Fi only model for ”a few weeks, now.”
Additionally, the Apple online store is completely sold out of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Regardless of what model is chosen online, delivery time is listed as 2-3 weeks.
Stämmer detta första tecken så återstår det att se om Apple kommer att skicka ut några inbjudningar till ett event, en keynote, eller om de nya modellerna helt plötsligt bara dyker upp.
