Earlier this week, Nintendo quietly confirmed the Switch 2’s mysterious new ’C’ button, located on the right Joy-Con controller.

We’re still waiting for an official update to find out what exactly this button does, but a new rumour doing the rounds suggests it will allow you to link your Switch 2 to the original Switch system and reportedly transform it into Wii U-like GamePad device.

This information comes from ”leaker extras1s” who apparently claims this is at least ”one function” of this new button. The same individual is perhaps best known within the Xbox community for his Game Pass leaks.

To download and install an over-the-air watchOS 11.4 update, go to Settings > General > Software Update on the watch itself or fire up the companion Watch app on your iPhone, select the My Watch tab and navigate to General > Software Update. The device must have at least 50% battery and be plugged into power.

If you oversleep your alarms, install watchOS 11.4; the update enables alarms with sound, instead of just haptics, even when the Silent Mode has been turned on.

The previous watchOS 11.3 update brought only bug fixes. However, Apple Watch owners got two new features with an older watchOS 11.2 update: pausing iPhone video recording through the built-in Remote Camera app and checking tidal conditions for coastal locations in China via the Tides app.

Since war plans leaked this week, global downloads for Signal have roughly doubled, app tracking firm Appfigures told Semafor. (TechCrunch first reported on the boost).

In the US, daily downloads tripled to more than 60,000. In Yemen, where the app is less popular, downloads increased by five times to more than 1,000 per day, bringing the platform from No. 50 in the iOS social media app rankings to No. 9 in the country today.
