Apple celebrated the grand reopening of Apple Ginza on Friday, September 26, in Tokyo’s vibrant Ginza district, where Apple first began its retail journey in Japan more than two decades ago. Opened in 2003 as Apple’s very first store outside the United States, Apple Ginza returned today in a reimagined four-story design that honors Apple’s history in Japan, while showcasing the latest innovations across products, services, and special Today at Apple programming.
