Pokémon GO fyller fem år i år och lanserades alltså sommaren 2016. Spelet har utvecklats i ganska rask takt sedan dess och innehåller idag turneringar, utmaningar och en lång rad funktioner.

Nu har Niantic satt samman en speciell video, för att fira.

Since its launch all the way back in July of 2016, Pokémon GO has now reached its 5th anniversary! In celebration of and appreciation for all the players who have walked, discovered, and changed the world with us, we’ve collected some of our most memorable moments from over the last five years in a special video!

This video is a montage of the real-life experiences of our Pokémon Trainers from all around the world. In the past five years, there’ve been as many adventures as there are Trainers and their Pokémon, and the discoveries they’ve made are even more boundless. We hope that this will bring back some fond memories of your own experiences as a Pokémon Trainer. No matter where your adventures take you, we’re all connected through the world of Pokémon GO.

The next step of our journey is the Community Day event on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 featuring Oshawott, the Sea Otter Pokémon. Take this opportunity to connect with your fellow Trainers and communities all around the world!
