The data highlights Apple’s growing share of smartphone activations, though it still trails far behind Android…According to CIRP, Android accounted for 63 percent of mobile phone activations in the United States during the June 2018 quarter. Meanwhile, iOS accounted for 36 percent of activations. Compared to the last quarter and the year ago quarter, Apple managed to improve its share of activations.
