The biggest rock albums of the 21st Century have been revealed. Find out what they are below.

To celebrate National Album Day, which took place on Saturday (October 18), Official Charts have released a list of the 40 biggest-selling rock and metal studio albums released in the 21st century.

Topping the list is Green Day‘s 2004 ‘American Idiot‘, which has sold over 2.6million UK chart units, based on combined UK sales and streams, in the 21 years since its release.

OpenAI has stopped its artificial intelligence (AI) app Sora creating deepfake videos portraying Dr Martin Luther King Jr, following a request from his estate.

The company acknowledged the video generator had created ”disrespectful” content about the civil rights campaigner.

Sora has gone viral in the US due to its ability to make hyper-realistic videos, which has led to people sharing faked scenes of deceased celebrities and historical figures in bizarre and often offensive scenarios.

OpenAI said it would pause images of Dr King ”as it strengthens guardrails for historical figures” – but it continues to allow people to make clips of other high profile individuals.

Last year, Apple won a 2021 lawsuit in China that accused it of charging excessive commissions on the App Store. Now, one lawyer behind that case is challenging Apple’s App Store practices once again. Here are the details.

A bit of background

In 2021, one Chinese customer filed a lawsuit claiming that Apple’s 30% App Store commission caused higher prices compared to Android. The Shanghai Intellectual Property Court, however, saw it differently.

The series is based on JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956 by Fredrik Logevall.
