A Russian law regulating the use of technologies enabling users to search the internet anonymously is coming into force on 1 November.Many are worried the law will make it harder for Russians to bypass internet censorship.Signed by President Vladimir Putin in July, the law imposes restrictions on proxy avoidance tools.These tools include virtual private networks (VPNs) and anonymous proxy servers (anonymisers).VPN providers will be obliged to closely cooperate with Russian media watchdog Roskomnadzor and comply with its requests.

US senators have put on show several examples of what they believe to be Russia’s attempt to influence US citizens via social media.Facebook, Twitter and Google had previously shared with congressional investigators some examples of what they suspected to be adverts and messages posted by Russia-based “troll” operatives, but the material had not previously been made public – although some instances had already been identified by the press.Below are the cases displayed during the Senate Subcommittee on the Judiciary’s hearing on Tuesday.Further examples are likely to be highlighted during a follow-up event, involving the same three companies, being held by the Senate Subcommittee on Intelligence later on Wednesday.

Niofar
NIOFAR tells the story of a French girl who went to settle in Senegal and meet its inhabitants. In Wolof, Niofiar means “to be together”.
This personal film is a metaphor of the amazing and unique experience lived by Hugos brother. He lived for one year at Grand Mbao, a small village of Senegal. There, he shared the day to day life of the villagers, and settled completely. learning the local language, giving himself and investing himself totally to them. Over there we called him the « Sénégaulois” a mix between the words Senegal and the Gauls.
Thanks to Colin, the rushes taken in Grand Mbao have a powerful strength of truth has they have been taken from the closest point you can get of the community. The characters are not disturbed by a foreign presence et forget the camera. The portraits the film depicts are fixed in authentic moments of life.

Nott, a Valkyrie with a tenacious character, has incurred the wrath of the Viking gods who, as punishment, have sent her loyal wolf Oder into the Underworld.
At a loss without her loyal companion, Nott goes in search of him within the cold and misty dwelling of the deceased known as “Helheim”.
Fortunately, Nott is a formidable archer, so she’ll be able to collect special arrows along the way to help her overcome the evil monsters drawn straight from Nordic legends.
Along her journey, Nott will also have to gain the support of several Viking heroes fallen in battle. They will help her complete her Odyssey, and in return, once reunited with Oder, Nott and her faithful companion will get them out of hell.
With its minimalist graphic style, this mix between a “shoot ’em up” and “infinite runner” game will delight a whole range of players: the game is easy to learn but difficult to master!
