Apple is working on a fix for GarageBand in iOS 11 | iMore
If you’ve been having trouble launching music creation app GarageBand after updating to iOS 11, you aren’t alone. Thankfully, Apple is aware of the issue.Many GarageBand users have noticed that after installing iOS 11, they’ve been unable to launch the app without it crashing immediately. According to a support page on Apple’s website, the company is “aware of the issue and is investigating solutions.” This is just the latest in a line of many bugs Apple has been attempting to contend with following iOS 11’s release, including haptic issues with the iPhone 7 and crackling noises coming from the earpieces during calls on iPhone 8.

After Trump tweets threat to free press, FCCs GOP commissioners remain silent
Nothing is supposed to surprise us in Washington these days. So, I guess we shouldnt have been surprised when President Trump tweeted that the broadcast licenses of NBC must be challenged, and if appropriate, revoked because he doesnt like the networks reporting.What is surprising is that the Trump-appointed chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as well as two Republican commissioners, have been totally silentfor two days!

Tom Wheeler är före detta ordförande för FCC, den myndighet som utfärdar tv-bolagens licenser. Det är alltså inte vem som helst som kritiserar den nuvarande ordföranden Ajit Pai för att inte stå upp för den konstitution som han sagt att han skall försvara.

Activists, celebrities and journalists joined a boycott of Twitter on Friday to protest the social media platforms locking of the account of the actress Rose McGowan, a fierce critic of the film producer Harvey Weinstein over his alleged sexual harassment and assaults of women.The boycott began at midnight Thursday in New York and was to last all day. Many of those taking part signified their participation with the hashtag #WomenBoycottTwitter.Heidi Moore, an editor, was among the first to popularize the campaign, writing on Twitter, Friday October 13th seems a good boycott day.
