Den här selfien kostade 200 000 dollar
En kvinna som ville hitta en bättre vinkel för sin selfie lyckades samtidigt välta en rad med konstverk över ända och orsaka skador på närmare 200 000 dollar. En dyr selfie.
I videon ses en kvinna, längst bort i bild, huka sig ned för att ta en selfie. Kvinna ramlar omkull och välter då en pelare som faller in i en annan och så vidare i en dyra dominoeffekt.
Ifrågasätts
Videons äkthet och om det i själva verket inte handlar om ett PR-trick för att skapa uppmärksamhet runt utställningen ifrågasätts nu sedan det visat sig finnas kopplingar mellan den som först laddat upp filmen och galleriet i fråga.

An Apple patent application published Thursday details a method of unlocking a mobile device using facial image and depth data gleaned from specialized sensors and cameras, lending credence to rumors that the company is developing facial recognition systems to augment, or replace, Touch ID fingerprint scanning.
In practice, authentication software contains instructions for detecting a user’s face opposite one or more of the included imaging sensors. In response to detecting a face, the visible light, infrared and 3D capture devices gather image data for local processing.

Silk Roads efterföljare har tagits ned av polis
Webbplatsen AlphaBay, en efterföljare till Silk Road, har tagits ned av polis och den misstänkte grundaren uppges ha begått självmord i en poliscell i Thailand.
AlphaBay skapades efter det att Silk Road tagits ned och stoppats. Det blev en efterföljare med tjänster för drog- och vapenhandel på the Dark Web.
An online marketplace that sold illegal goods on the so-called Dark Web was shut last week following action by international authorities, according to people familiar with the matter.
The closing of AlphaBay, an anonymous marketplace that listed for sale drugs, counterfeit credit cards and other illegal goods, came after coordinated action by the U.S., Canada and Thailand, the people said.

Självmord
Den misstänkte grundaren greps och placerades i häkte av polisen i Thailand den 5 juli. Mannen uppges ha bott i landet i närmare åtta år. På onsdagen så rapporterade Bangkok Post att mannen påträffats död i sin cell där han polisuppgifter säger att han har hängt sig i sin cell med hjälp av en handduk.
