The Americans, House of cards, Game of Thrones, Fargo och Mr. Robot är några av de dramaserier som kan få flera statyetter under årets Emmy-gala.Under torsdagskvällen, svensk tid, tillkännagavs de nominerade till årets Emmy-pris, på Wolf Theatre i Hollywood. Emmy Awards som är tv-världens motsvarighet i till biofilmernas Oscar.Nomineringarna presenterades av skådespelarna Lauren Graham, känd från tv-serien Gilmore Girls, och Anthony Anderson, som spelar i serien black-ish.De nominerade till årets bästa dramaserie är: The Americans, Downton Abbey, Better call Saul, House of cards, Homeland, Mr. Robot och Game of Thrones.Claire Danes (Homeland) Robin Wright (House of Cards) och Viola Davis (How to get away with murder) är några av de nominerade till priset för bästa kvinnliga huvudroll i en dramaserie. Bland de manliga huvudrollsnomineringarna återfinns bland annat Kevin Spacey (House of Cards) Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) och Matthew Rhys (The Americans).

Yahoo Is Said to Collect Final Bids as Auction Nears Its End

SAN FRANCISCO — The gavel is finally poised to drop in the drawn-out auction for Yahoo’s core internet business.Final bids for the services, whoch include Yahoo’s search, email, advertising and media operations, are due Monday, with the board set to make a decision soon afterward, according to people briefed on the process who asked for anonymity because the bidding was confidential.The sale of Yahoo’s business would close out a largely unsuccessful four-year effort by Marissa Mayer, the company’s chief executive, to turn around the internet company. Although Yahoo was once the place where many web users began their wanderings, it fell on hard times over the last decade through a series of strategic and managerial missteps. Although Yahoo’s properties still draw more than one billion visitors a month, the company accounts for a tiny slice of the time people spend online.
